Listings

Peer classifieds on Looma. Browse items, create a listing, Connect with a seller, and manage a sale in chat. Not the same as organization shops, fundraisers, or charity donations.

Listings are separate. A listing is person-to-person (Connect + chat). Organization Shops, Fundraisers, and Charity donations use Cart and Checkout. Profile My Orders is for cart checkouts, not listing sales.

Who can use Listings

  • Browse (drawer Listings): verified adults and verified independent minors
  • Create a listing: verified adults with marketplace access only
  • Chat on a listing: verified adults, independent minors, and supervised minors (when messaging is allowed)
  • Unverified adults do not get marketplace create access

Open Listings

  • Drawer → Listings (app bar title Listings)
  • Drawer → Explore → tab Listings
  • Community, organization, network, or public profile tabs that show Listings
  • Search / tag search → Listings
  • Bookmarks → tab Listings (when you have bookmarked listings)

Empty browse state: Nothing For Sale. Grid empty states may say No Shared Listings or No Listings yet.

Create a listing

Create menu / FAB → Listing opens Create Listing (verified adults with marketplace access).

  1. Add media: Pick Album or camera. Empty: No media selected.
  2. Information: Enter the item title and Tell us about your item.
  3. Set Your item's price, optional Add location, and Posted to (tap Add). Audience can include Followers Only.
  4. Success: Post added successfully.

Listing detail

Tap a card to open detail (app bar Listing). Cards show title, price, like, and bookmark.

  • Status chips: AVAILABLE, PENDING, or SOLD
  • Actions: like, bookmark, share; chat icon when messaging is allowed for your tier
  • Others: Connect, or Flag / Flag post for review
  • Owner: Delete post (confirm Delete Post?) and Manage Sale

Buying and selling (Connect, not cart)

Listings do not use Cart or Checkout. Typical path:

  1. Buyer taps Connect and messages the seller.
  2. Seller can Award Listing in the conversation and share Private Pickup Instructions.
  3. Owner uses Manage Sale to update status, pickup instructions, or revoke a buyer.

Treat meetup and payment arrangements carefully. Use Flag if something looks wrong. See Privacy, Safety & Wellbeing.
