What Looma Gives is

Looma Social runs ads so the platform can fund itself and give back. In short:

• 25% of all profits to charities
• 50% of profits back to users
• $0 cost to shelters and nonprofits for the NFC giving system (when live)

The in-app story also explains that Looma covers platform costs first, publishes impact quarterly, and directs a guaranteed slice of profit to Looma Gives.

How It Works

1. Ads run in Looma Social - modest, non-intrusive advertising generates revenue.
2. Platform costs are covered first - operations, infrastructure, and the team, with radical transparency.
3. 50% of profits go to Looma users - half of what Looma earns goes back to the community. See also Earnings & Payouts.
4. 25% goes to Looma Gives - charities and community programs.
5. Impact published quarterly - real numbers users can see.

The NFC Giving System (coming to the app)

On the Looma Gives page you'll see The NFC Giving System with a Patent Pending badge. The vision:

• For Shelters & Organizations - partner orgs register people and assign a secure NFC bracelet.
• For Community Donors - load funds into a mobile wallet and give with a tap.
• For Approved Merchants - verified local businesses process NFC transactions for essentials, with safeguards.

Coming soon in Looma: donate to those in need from the app itself (wallet and NFC giving). That flow is not available yet. Settings → Safety & Compliance Audit may show a Looma Gives (NFC) eligibility line for OS-verified adults. That reflects readiness policy, not a live donate button.

Anyone can open the info page. There is no age gate on the drawer tile.

Scroll Cap

Daily feed browsing has a scroll cap. Looma Gives activity (NFC giving, charitable browsing, and donation activity when those exist) does not count toward that feed cap. Settings → Daily Scroll Cap explains this under a Looma Gives rule.

Not the same as organization donations
